We recommend to many people that they fly into Albuquerque the Saturday before their Sunday pickup. The ranch is located 4 1/2 hours from the airport, and while it is a beautiful drive through every eco-zone New Mexico has to offer, it can make for a long day if you have already flown half way across the country. Albuquerque is at 5,000 feet elevation, so staying over is a great way to get acclimated to the altitude. You may also find that your airfare is cheaper if you stay over a Saturday night. We have a great deal with the Wyndham Hotel at International Sunport, a very nice place near the airport. They will pick you up when you arrive in Albuquerque and take good care of you. Guests flying in on Sunday will be picked up by the Wyndham and welcomed to wait there in the lounge or grab a quick lunch at the restaurant. We pick up only at the Albuquerque Wyndham Hotel on Sundays at 1:00 p.m., and get you back to either the hotel or the airport at 2:00 p.m. the following Saturday. Please do not expect to get back to Albuquerque prior to 2:00pm on Saturday unless you have your own transportation.
