The best horseback vacation in the West!

The N Bar Ranch is the real thing - a working cattle ranch. There is no set daily itinerary. What we do each day is dictated by the weather and the cattle. We take it as it comes.

We do everything from the back of a horse, the way cowboys did it in the old west. Our string of horses numbers between fifty and sixty, all sizes, all types, and all great. With only eight to ten folks here each week, we ride in small groups doing what needs to be done, or just horseback riding to be horseback riding.

There is no nose to tail at a walk stuff here, you are free to trot for miles along the old wagon roads or gallop through the mountain meadows. We are one of the few places that lets you ride to your wandering heart's content. No one has ever left the N Bar feeling they had not ridden enough.
