Hunting Info

We are located in the heart of the Gila National Forest, New Mexico, and right in the middle of New Mexico Game Unit 16a, with easy access to unit 16d and 16b. This is one of the top areas for trophy elk in the entire United States!

We make it easy to hunt the Gila, just bring your weapon, your personnel gear and leave the rest to us. Our cabins are warm and dry, our showers clean and hot, and our meals tasty and filling. Ours is an old time sort of hunting camp, the kind your Grandpa told you about. It's rustic. It's comfortable, it kinda takes you back to an earlier day.

The wood stove in the cookhouse welcomes you to a big breakfast on a frosty morning. In the evening the place is filled with stories and laughter as you relax with your feet up after a great meal.
Breakfast is served a couple hours before shooting light so you can be sure to have plenty time to get in the field. It's always a big spread to get you fueled up for the day. Lunch you put together from our sandwich- making spread before you head out for the day. Dinner is served just after sunset and stays hot till the last hunter is back in camp. Roasts, stews, and BBQ are the main stays with salads, fresh breads and always a tasty dessert.
The coffee pot is always full and the advice is always free.

The rate for the cabin and meal package is $120.00 per person per night with a 3 night minimum.
This does not include any guide service.
