Terrain
The ranch is located in an idyllic meadow valley, which offers immediate access to a variety of terrain in the world’s oldest designated wilderness area. Explore close to a million acres of unspoiled, wild country that has been home to ancient civilizations, Apaches, mountain men, prospectors, and outlaws.
Whatever your type of riding, gentle open country or challenging high timber, it's your choice, we have it all.
From the Headquarters Just out of the back gate of the headquarters is Bearwallow mountain which rises to 10,000 feet. At that point you are in tall timber country. Ponderosa parks, Aspen and Fir, you would swear you were in Colorado. Miles and miles of abandoned timber trails lead you to the top of the mountains for hundred mile views into Arizona. Out the front gate of the headquarters, you enter the unique ecosystem of the T Bar grasslands. 100,000 acres of rolling grasslands cut by deep canyons, rippled with fresh streams, dotted with Ponderosa groves and teaming with every species of wildlife found in the high country.
