This year's Pathfinder Ride will try to complete the one we didn't finish last year. I've learned a few things since then; the main one being you can't always avoid riding some of the old two track roads. In some places the country is so rough there is only one good way through and by now there is usually a road there. Now don't get me wrong it's not like we will be dodging vehicles or anything.

We will start about 80 crow miles north at Via Tio Springs and work our way south taking five days to get to the ranch. We will be in mostly timbered country, lots of mountainous ups and downs, some of the sweetest meadows you'll ever see. Lots of wildlife this time of year. It will give you a real taste of what traveling a century ago was like.

Some of it we already know is a bit rough and technical so please have some experience, be in shape and carry a good attitude.
